Our client, a respected and expanding multidisciplinary law firm, is seeking an experienced
Trial Attorney
to join their team in
Mt. Laurel, NJ . This role offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters, primarily within insurance defense and coverage, in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Flexible and hybrid work arrangements are available. Key Responsibilities Independently manage a full caseload of
insurance defense and/or coverage matters
from inception through resolution Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and legal documents Provide strategic legal guidance to clients on complex legal matters Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations Handle discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document review Analyze insurance policies to assess coverage and risk Prepare detailed coverage opinions and position letters Resolve disputes with insurers and opposing counsel Engage in marketing efforts and attend networking events and legal conferences Contribute to legal publications and thought leadership initiatives Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Licensed to practice in
New Jersey state and federal courts Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Knowledge of New Jersey Rules of Court, Federal Rules, and Rules of Evidence Experience conducting depositions (party, witness, expert) Trial experience
(bench and jury) is
required Base salary range: $100,000 – $135,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications) NOTE: Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s industry knowledge and experience. All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
