Compensation: $60,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience + full benefits package Overview:
Lotus Concepts Management is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Specialist to oversee payroll processing for multiple restaurant and hospitality concepts. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll, maintaining compliance with labor laws, and supporting key aspects of employee records and compensation. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of payroll systems, hospitality workforce dynamics, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll for hourly and salaried employees across multiple locations and concepts using Paycor (or designated payroll system) Review and reconcile timecard data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure wage accuracy Manage tip reporting, tip pooling, and gratuity compliance across multiple venues Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal wage laws, including overtime, shift premiums, and meal breaks Administer wage garnishments, deductions, PTO payouts, and terminations Maintain employee records related to compensation, tax forms (W-4s), direct deposit, and work eligibility Respond to employee inquiries related to pay, timekeeping, and payroll policies in a professional and timely manner Assist HR and Accounting teams with audits, reporting, and year-end processes including W-2s and tax filings Support new location setup, pay code creation, and best practices for department managers in timekeeping Qualifications: 2+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-unit operations Strong knowledge of payroll systems (Paycor preferred), Excel, and timekeeping procedures Familiarity with tip reporting, tax compliance, and labor laws across Colorado and neighboring states Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information confidentially Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment $60,000–$75,000 base salary, depending on experience PTO and paid holidays Health, dental, and vision insurance 401K with company match Daily lunch, employee discounts, and access to internal development resources
