Base pay range

Job Description: Conceptualize and design future voice, data, and video products and services, and integrate these into existing central office ecosystem, including the core Metaswitch platform. Key Responsibilities: Develop new telecom products and services from conceptual stages through design and implementation. Become the subject matter expert on Metaswitch service delivery, routing translations, and maintenance activities. Manage network capacity requirements in cooperation with the NOC, field technicians, and other carriers. Support all network projects related to switching, optical transport, IP, video, and broadband access technology. Provide product documentation and support for training and RFP responses, working with sales & marketing staff plus key customers. Required Qualifications: 7+ years experience in telecom switching, routing, and optical transport. Demonstrated experience with the next generation switching platform from Metaswitch. Understanding of video service delivery, including multicast, video-on-demand, and digital content multiplexers. Experience with MPLS and DWDM systems (10, 100, and 500 Gig). Experience with copper and fiber broadband access systems (ADSL, VDSL2, G.Fast, GPON, XGS-PON). Ability to manage and provision the network using tools from Solar Winds and NISC (National Information Solutions Cooperative). Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Project, Access, and PowerPoint, and have strong presentation skills. Having an entrepreneurial spirit to enjoy dealing with the technical challenges of growing the business in a competitive environment. Education:
