A leading global quantitative trading firm is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Systems Engineer/Planner to lead critical projects within a high-performance computing environment. The firm values innovation, collaboration, and scientific rigor, applying cutting-edge research in mathematics, physics, and computer science to financial markets and beyond. The infrastructure team is responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining world-class systems that support trading operations, including data center design, network optimization, and automation. Key Responsibilities: Lead technical implementation of compute, storage, and network infrastructure projects. Troubleshoot and support high-performance network systems, including InfiniBand and Ethernet. Apply a DevOps approach to automate infrastructure management and resolve complex issues. Collaborate with global teams to ensure efficient deployment and maintenance of systems. Maintain high standards for work quality and meet tight deadlines under pressure. Required Skills and Experience: Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred). Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Experience with Linux systems, networking (e.g., CCNA-level knowledge), and Python scripting. Familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet. Experience in data center planning, including space, power, and cabling. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment. Seniority level
