A leading global quantitative trading firm is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Systems Engineer/Planner to lead critical projects within a high-performance computing environment. The firm values innovation, collaboration, and scientific rigor, applying cutting-edge research in mathematics, physics, and computer science to financial markets and beyond. The infrastructure team is responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining world-class systems that support trading operations, including data center design, network optimization, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical implementation of compute, storage, and network infrastructure projects.
• Troubleshoot and support high-performance network systems, including InfiniBand and Ethernet.
• Apply a DevOps approach to automate infrastructure management and resolve complex issues.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure efficient deployment and maintenance of systems.
• Maintain high standards for work quality and meet tight deadlines under pressure.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Linux systems, networking (e.g., CCNA-level knowledge), and Python scripting.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet.
• Experience in data center planning, including space, power, and cabling.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
