Maintenance Engineer

performs building repairs and maintenance tasks in commercial office buildings including basic preventive maintenance to the building structure and systems, light maintenance and cleaning. In addition, you'll play a key role in driving our commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency—helping us lead the way in strategic energy practices. Essential Functions include but are not limited to: Perform general maintenance and repairs on assigned buildings Order lighting and plumbing equipment and other supplies needed Perform odd jobs for tenants (e.g. including moving furniture, hanging photos) and other maintenance tasks as directed by work orders Participate in the Engineering on-call schedule Drives company vehicle, as needed ABOUT YOU Do you have the skills and meet the qualifications below? SKILLS Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work cooperatively Proficient in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Word and Outlook Some knowledge of basic lighting and plumbing QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or equivalent required Current specialty 07 electrical training card preferred, but not required ADA REQUIREMENTS Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
