Prepare detailed cost estimates for K-12 construction projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary project details. Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop accurate estimates. Identify and evaluate potential cost-saving opportunities during the estimation process. Maintain and update a database of material costs, labor rates, and equipment expenses. Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed to gather critical project insights. Provide support to the project team by answering estimation-related questions and clarifying details. Prepare bid proposals and presentations for clients and stakeholders. A successful Estimator - K-12 should have: Experience in preparing cost estimates for construction projects, preferably in the K-12 sector. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and labor costs. Proficiency in estimation software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate project requirements effectively. Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly. A background in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. What's on Offer
