Coordinating end-to-end data migration efforts. Creating and planning required technical documentation for data mergers. Communicating project related updates to various stack holders. Acting as the primary point of contact for production support. Interacting daily with vendors to review upcoming changes, monitor changes, and provide updates to internal management. Managing new release of vendor products. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week.
Salary
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $157000 and $170000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field and seven (7) years of experience in the position offered or seven (7) years as an Associate, Software Engineer, Software Consultant, or a related occupation. Requires seven (7) years of experience with: eCommunications Archive technologies and a compliance archive platform; Linux; Perl OR Python; Job Scheduling tool; SQL; private cloud infrastructure; application development; deployment; network/distributed IT system; storage technologies; application troubleshooting; managing and coordinating simultaneous project deliverables across groups and teams; Agile methodology; working with regulatory, compliance and litigation groups within the Financial Industry; and drafting application solution requirements, testing, and coordinating deployment of solutions with vendor.
