Overview This position shares responsibility for supervising the service delivery of community habilitation, in-home respite, site-based respite, Customized Residential Programs, and self-directed services. The role acts as a resource for individuals, their families, and support staff to create and maintain a lifestyle that fosters self-reliance, encourages growth, and maximizes interdependence. The position supports the mission, vision, and values of Heritage Christian Services, Inc. Pay for this position: $60,315 / yr - $66,424 / yr The salary of the finalist will be set based on factors including departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The range provided is an estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Responsibilities Along with the Director of Customized Support, provide supervision and oversight of the customized supports team, community habilitation, and residential options. Responsible for oversight of site-based and in-home respite programs, supervising staff such as Customized Support Coordinators, FI Representatives, FI Coordinators, and Brokers, and evaluating their performance. Maintain a small caseload of FI cases in line with FI Coordinator responsibilities. Manage a small broker caseload according to the brokerage MOU. Track compliance standards of team members across programs. Support individuals and their support teams in person-centered planning and thinking. Build relationships with individuals, families, and support staff based on respect and compassion. Promote self-direction by active listening and establishing outcomes based on informed choice and supported decision-making. Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution with individuals receiving community supports. Oversee and perform job tasks including documentation and billing, payroll and HR functions, staff scheduling and supervision, and employee training related to residential options. Participate in other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor. Manage budgets responsibly, including petty cash and mileage, and attend financial meetings. Complete program audits, including compass tools and billing reviews. Ensure all aspects of individual care and conduct comply with the mission, policies, procedures, and laws. Educate staff on the Compliance Plan and report non-compliance issues. Qualifications Experience in a human service field and at least one-year experience working with people with developmental disabilities. Previous experience as a Fiscal Intermediary Coordinator or in community services coordination required. Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of High School diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated supervisory and administrative skills. Valid New York State driver’s license meeting Heritage Christian Services’ standards.
