with the facility scheduled to relocate to

Northbrook, IL

in December 2025. All applicants must be willing to travel as needed and commit to relocating with the company at that time. Job Responsibilities 1. Project Planning Forecasts project schedule, budget, and resource utilization with accuracy. Provides project justification, financial modeling, and alternatives analysis. Defines project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives. Negotiates personnel needs with internal department leaders. Clearly communicates project expectations to all stakeholders. Identifies critical paths, dependencies, and risks; develops mitigation strategies. Develops detailed project plans, schedules, and milestone tracking systems. 2. Project Management Manages large-scale or multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring operational alignment and execution. Leads cross-functional teams, clarifies roles and responsibilities, and resolves team conflicts. Provides progress updates, proposals, and reports to key stakeholders. Monitors and adjusts scope and strategy as needed, proactively identifying and addressing risks. Coaches, mentors, and motivates project teams to ensure high performance and accountability. Implements project management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Oversees project financials, including ROI analysis, revenue recognition, and invoicing accuracy. Ensures risk management and exposure mitigation across all projects. 3. Cross-Functional and External Liaison Serves as primary liaison to internal departments including Product Management, Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, and Purchasing. Communicates effectively with all levels of management and staff. Facilitates team and client/business meetings, anticipating needs and proposing effective solutions. Ensures alignment with Hu-Friedy Group’s Quality, Regulatory, and NPD standards and procedures. Functional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required; advanced degree a plus. PMI Certification , or equivalent extensive project management experience. 10–15 years of experience managing medium to large-scale, cross-functional projects. Demonstrated expertise in Change Management, Business Process Optimization, and Business Consulting. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills. Effective communicator with proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships. Industry experience in dental instruments, medical devices, or healthcare manufacturing . Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing and ISO 9000 Quality Standards. Comfortable working independently and in collaborative environments. Able to adapt to shifting priorities and resolve complex problems with speed and efficiency.
