Job Summary: The purpose of this position is to implement new system modules, provide daily support and training to end-users, develop programs and reports, and ensure the seamless operation of educational software applications. The role involves technical support, troubleshooting, collaboration with development teams, and monitoring application performance to enhance educational programs and support system reliability. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide first and second-level technical support for educational software applications, resolving user inquiries promptly. Diagnose and troubleshoot application issues by analyzing logs, error messages, and reports. Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve complex issues and implement fixes. Monitor application performance and system health, recommending improvements. Maintain detailed documentation of support activities, known issues, and resolutions. Assist in deploying updates, patches, and configuration changes with minimal disruption. Train and guide users and internal teams on application features and troubleshooting. Perform other duties as assigned. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience: Proven experience in application or technical support, preferably in educational technology. Strong understanding of software applications, databases, and operating systems relevant to educational platforms. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues. Effective communication skills for interacting with technical teams and non-technical users. Experience with Learning Management Systems such as Moodle, Blackboard, or Canvas. Familiarity with scripting (Python, PowerShell) for support automation. Knowledge of SQL and database management for troubleshooting and data analysis. Certifications like ITIL Foundation or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are a plus.
