Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain Class A vehicles including Lowbed, Triaxle, and Dump Trailer configurations • Load, secure, and transport heavy equipment and machinery to job sites or customer locations • Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre/post trip checks • Ensure proper tie-down, chaining, and load balancing in compliance with DOT regulations • Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation • Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and site personnel • Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws • Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any vehicle issues immediately • Maintain cleanliness and proper care of assigned equipment • Perform additional duties as assigned related to equipment delivery and transport operations
Requirements:
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record • Minimum 3 years of experience operating Lowbed, Triaxle, and/or Dump Trailers preferred • Experience with oversized/heavy equipment transport strongly preferred • Knowledge of DOT regulations and load securement practices • Ability to safely operate manual transmission trucks • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and occasional overnights • Physically able to climb onto equipment, secure loads, and perform minor truck inspections • Strong work ethic, professionalism, and a commitment to safety Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working with construction or utility contractors • Familiarity with local and regional hauling routes
