About The Role The Senior Accountant will oversee daily financial accounting operations for Zevra and its subsidiaries. Responsibilities include producing timely financial reports, maintaining accurate records, reconciling financial statements, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work independently under pressure. What You'll Do Prepare and review journal entries Manage recurring entries, G&A allocations, and intercompany accounting Review bank reconciliations Prepare quarterly royalty statements Manage prepaid, lease, and debt accounting processes Reconcile balance sheets and P&L statements Investigate and resolve audit findings and discrepancies Prepare payroll entries and manage severance accounting Review vendor invoices and expense reports Reconcile intercompany accounts Compile reports and reconciliations Assist in financial audits and internal controls Ensure timely payments and prepare ACH/wire transfers Supervise junior staff Handle special accounting projects Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field Minimum 4 years of accounting experience with reconciliations Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP Proficiency in Excel and experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Concur Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Zevra is committed to diversity and inclusion, prohibiting discrimination based on protected characteristics.
