Andrews & Cole is seeking an Interim Controller for a 3-6 month assignment with a high-growth, acquisitive client. With two recent acquisitions completed—and more on the horizon—the client is rapidly scaling and building a modern, world-class finance operation to support this momentum. The Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for leading and evolving the financial operations across all business units. Reporting directly to the CFO, this consultant will build, lead, and shape the financial systems, policies, and people in a fast-moving, acquisitive environment. Key Responsibilities Lead accounting operations across all business units, including general ledger, AR/AP, revenue recognition, and technical accounting Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls to ensure audit readiness and regulatory alignment Build and mentor a growing team (initially 3–5 staff), with plans to scale as the business expands Develop scalable systems and processes to support integration of new acquisitions Partner with cross-functional leadership to provide financial insight, scenario modeling, and support for key strategic decisions Participate in due diligence and post-acquisition integration, potentially including international travel (e.g., to India) Preferred Qualifications CPA 10+ years of experience, including 5+ as a Controller or senior finance leader in a complex organization with $150M–$500M in revenue Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition, and technical accounting Demonstrated ability to lead during periods of high growth and organizational change Excellent communication skills, and comfort engaging with executive leadership and external partners Experience with acquisition integration and international operations a plus CPA strongly preferred Seniority level
