The Project Manager - Academic Projects will be responsible for: Establishing the project control plan. Control the rate of production and quality on all projects, their associated cost and expected receipts. Securing building permits, licenses, and occupancy certificates. Monitoring/controlling construction through administrative direction of the on-site Superintendent to ensure building the project on schedule and within budget. Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures. Managing financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain a good relationship with the client. Reviewing job cost reports and maintaining accurate and timely indicated cost reporting. Scheduling and assisting in progress meetings with Construction Superintendents. Securing scheduling for equipment, material, shop drawing submittals, and deliveries. The successful Project Manager - Academic Projects will have: 5+ years of experience in project management. Experience working on large, ground-up construction within the academic space. Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field (preferred). Proficient in Procore and other construction-related software. OSHA 30. A driven and outgoing personality. What's on Offer
