Job Description
The Project Manager - Academic Projects will be responsible for
Establish the project control plan. Control the rate of production and quality on all projects, their associated cost and expected receipts. Secure building permits, licenses and occupancy certificates. Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure building the project on schedule and within budget. Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures. Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with client. Review job cost reports and maintain accurate and timely indicated cost reporting. Schedule and assist in progress meetings with Construction Superintendents. Secure scheduling for equipment, material, shop drawing submittals and deliveries. The Successful Applicant
The successful Project Manager - Academic Projects will have:
5+ years experience in project management Experience working on large, ground up construction within the academic space Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related field (preferred) Proficient in Procore and other construction related softwares OSHA 30 Driven and outgoing personality What's on Offer
The Project Manager will receive:
Base salary up to $155k (Based on previous experience) 100% paid health insurance 401k match Vacation/Personal Time, Sick Time and 7 paid holidays Company phone or personal cell reimbursement Mileage reimbursement
