Jobright.ai The Commonwealth of Kentucky's Department for Community Based Services is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Division of Child Care. The role involves providing statistical data analysis and research to assist in the development and management of programs that serve vulnerable populations. Responsibilities: • Provides data analysis using programming language for the Division of Child Care (DCC). • Utilizes Kentucky Integrated Child Care System (KICCS), Branagh, ECE-TRIS, and the Benefinds systems to extract data for analysis. • Provides data analysis and reports to assist DCC field staff to provide direction in approving, returning, denying, or reducing various programs participating in Childcare programs. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Monitors and completes provider submissions in the KICCS systems using the Tiered Quality Rating Improvement System (TQRIS) aka KY All STARS. • Coordinates with internal and external staff and contracted sub-recipient staff to provide guidance and resource tools to communicate with providers. • Uses Branagh System to review and generate reports. • Coordinates with field and contracted staff related to issuance of child care facility reports. • Coordinates with providers on improvement plans around increasing quality child care. • Uses All STARS regulations and policies with ECE-TRIS System to review Early professional development trainings of staff in Childcare facilities. • Acts as liaison between DCC central office, community partners, field, and contracted staff to ensure unified messaging to Childcare facilities for improving facility participation in professional developmental trainings. • Uses KICCS, ECE-TRIS, Branagh, and Benefind Systems to provide communication between Early Childcare facilities, DCC central office staff, field staff, and contracted sub-recipient staff around varied TQRIS system processes. Qualifications: Required: • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree OR a graduate of a college or university with an associate's degree in information technology (IT) or related field OR certification in an IT-related field. • Two years of professional experience in IT data analysis. • A master's degree in computer science will substitute for one year of the required experience. • Two years of additional related experience in IT data analysis will substitute for the education requirement.
