Job DescriptionJob Description We’re a statewide Florida elder law firm that believes great lawyering changes lives. Our holistic approach combines Estate Planning, Medicaid & Asset Protection, Probate/Trust Administration, Adult Guardianship, Special Needs Planning, and Elder‑Law‑Adjacent Litigation with genuine compassion for the people we serve. We laugh and cry with clients and their families, and then we roll up our sleeves and get the work done. Our growth (double‑digit year over year) means fresh challenges, more opportunities, and a bigger platform to make an impact. Our Core Values (Your Daily Compass) Positivity – We look for solutions, not drama. Dependability – We do what we say and communicate if something shifts. Initiative – See it, own it, fix it. Attentive Communication – Listen first, speak with care, follow up. Service‑Mindedness – Treat clients like family; protect them like our own. If these values light you up, please keep reading. Compensation: $160,000 - $210,000 yearly Responsibilities: Own Case Movement & Accountability – You’re the captain who keeps every matter in rhythm. Run regular file sweeps, calendar deadlines, and drive each file from intake to final invoice so no family waits in limbo. Lead & Lift the Team – Junior attorneys and paralegals look to you for guidance. You review their work product, answer tough questions, and set clear next steps. NO micromanagement from above required, just your steady leadership. Draft & Review sophisticated estate plans

(revocable/irrevocable

trusts, wills, POAs, funding docs) tailored to each family’s goals. Design & Implement Medicaid asset‑protection strategies, including planning and DCF applications through approval. Administer probate & trust estates (summary and formal) and represent fiduciaries in adult guardianship matters with assets. Meet Clients in person (Miami‑Dade/Broward) or via Zoom statewide for strategy sessions, document signings, and sensitive family meetings. Build & Refine Systems – If a checklist is clunky or a workflow stalls, you don’t complain, you fix it. Create and improve SOPs, templates, and automations to keep the firm humming. Collaborate Firm‑Wide – Work closely with our CEO on KPIs and on educational outreach to ensure seamless client experiences. Qualifications: Licensed Florida Attorney in good standing. 5+ years focused experience in at least two: estate planning, Medicaid planning, probate/trust administration, and adult guardianship. Passionate about elder law and willing to dive into new areas as needed. Organized self‑starter who communicates early about capacity (no last‑minute surprises).
