A confidential, leading financial services firm is looking for a Director of Compensation. This professional will need to have supported banking departments and have familiarity with associate compensation structures and at least 7 years of prior compensation experience in financial services. Serve as a subject matter expert on front office compensation structures, with a focus on investment banking roles and associate program frameworks. Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to advise on base, bonus, and incentive compensation. Manage annual compensation cycle activities (benchmarking, planning, budgeting, approvals) for banking divisions. Support ongoing compensation program enhancements and policy development. Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, and talent teams. 7+ years of progressive compensation experience, with direct exposure to investment banking/front office roles. Prior experience at a bank or financial institution is required. Strong understanding of U.S. compensation practices. Able to advise on complex comp models and incentive structures. Experience working with or leading compensation for associate/early talent programs is a strong plus. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-touch environment with senior stakeholders.
