Lead SAP SCM Consultant . Job Description:
As a Lead Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluate solution options, and make recommendations. You will plan configuration activities, configure the product as per design, conduct conference room pilots, and assist in resolving queries related to requirements and solution design. You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops, and prepare effort estimates aligned with customer budgets and organizational guidelines. Additionally, you will support knowledge transfer to provide value-adding consulting solutions that meet clients' evolving needs. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Consideration will also be given to three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education. At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology. The position is based in Pomona, CA, with possible travel to project/client locations. Applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years experience in SAP SCM implementation and support programs. Experience in Electricity, Gas, or Water Utilities industries in North America. Hands-on experience with process integration, master data management, production planning, business forecasting, and demand planning. Proven configuration skills in Procurement, Inventory Management, Order Management, and Warehouse Management. Experience in independently writing Functional Specifications and handling critical projects. Knowledge of FICO integration with MM and SD modules. Experience in at least one end-to-end lifecycle implementation, including requirement gathering, business process design, SAP configuration, RICEFW functional design, system and integration testing, and resolving production issues. Strong client-facing skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in advanced Excel-based data analysis. Ability to coordinate work between offshore and onsite teams, with flexible work timings due to remote work environment. The role involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods and may require travel based on project needs.
