Job Summary: Sets and removes molds from molding machines. Completes all required paper work and documentation. Adheres to all plant and OSHA safety policies and regulations. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: • Sets and pulls molds according to established procedures. • Completes their section of changeover checklist • Loads programs for Robots and Machines. • Promptly addresses all buzzers, alarms and red lights. • Communicates with molding manager, shift supervisor, quality assurance, tool room and maintenance about any problems that may exist related to specific department. • Keeps all areas within responsibility neat, clean and organized at all times. • Maintains compliance with company safety, housekeeping, rules and procedures to help maintain a safe, healthy work environment. • Ensures that practices are compliant with the applicable quality system requirements. • Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Possesses the technical and mechanical skills to set and pull mold. Required skills level obtained through on-the-job training. • Can successfully act as backup Material Handler. • Successful completion of Forklift Certification. • Ability to start and persist with specific course of action while exhibiting high motivation and a sense of urgency, willing to commit to long hours of work in order to reach goals, working with supervision. • Successful completion of Routsis and ToolingU training and certification. • Substantial interpersonal skills for effective communication and interaction with all levels of the organization. • Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions. • Ability to work overtime as required. • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings. Education and Experience: • High School Diploma or GED preferred. • 6+ Months experience in Operator III or Material Handler III role (or prior external experience). Physical Requirements: • Must be able to stand entire shift (8+ hrs.). • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. • Requires manual dexterity. • Moderate physical demand involving lifting and moving of materials and equipment. • Frequently moves from waist level to floor level.
1st Shift 7:30 am - 4:00 pm 2nd Shift 3:30 pm - 12:00 am Shift Differential $2.50/hour 3rd Shift 11:30 pm - 8:00 am Shift Differential $2.00/hour
