Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Atlassian Enterprise Administrator
to lead the administration, optimization, and expansion of our enterprise-wide Atlassian ecosystem in support of both our
R&D operations
and
enterprise IT systems . This role plays a key part in the success of our
charitable gaming product development lifecycle , helping to enable
high-performing software and hardware engineering teams , as well as
compliance-driven business processes . The administrator will partner across R&D, Enterprise IT, QA, Product Management, Compliance, and Operations to ensure that our Atlassian tools drive agility, collaboration, and traceability.
Our technology stack supports the entire lifecycle of
electronic charitable gaming products
— from
game and systems design
through
hardware and software development ,
regulatory certification ,
deployment , and
field service . Atlassian tools are essential to this ecosystem.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
Enterprise Atlassian Administration Configure, manage, and optimize
Jira Software ,
Jira Service Management ,
Confluence ,
Bitbucket , and associated plugins to support R&D, ITSM, and business workflows. Manage
Data Center
and
Cloud
Atlassian environments, as applicable. Maintain system health, scalability, and performance through proactive monitoring and upgrades. Own integrations with development tools (e.g. GitHub, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins), identity management (LDAP/AD, SSO), and reporting systems. Support for R&D Lifecycle Design and administer
advanced Jira workflows
supporting:
Agile software and hardware development SQA and compliance tracking Regulatory submission and release management Product deployment and field issue management
Implement
Confluence knowledge bases
for engineering standards, design documentation, and compliance reporting. Partner with R&D teams to enhance collaboration and traceability across the entire product lifecycle. Support for Enterprise IT Manage
Jira Service Management
for ITSM processes such as incident, change, and asset management. Support enterprise project tracking and cross-departmental collaboration. Governance & Compliance Enforce governance standards for tool usage and change management. Ensure data integrity and traceability to meet
regulatory requirements for charitable gaming jurisdictions . Maintain compliance with
internal security policies
and external standards. Continuous Improvement & Innovation Identify and implement opportunities for automation and efficiency gains. Evaluate and introduce new plugins, features, and integrations to support evolving needs. Stay current with
Atlassian product roadmaps
and emerging best practices in R&D and enterprise environments. Requirements: Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience administering Atlassian products in an enterprise or R&D setting. Deep expertise in
Jira Software
and
Confluence
administration. Strong understanding of advanced Jira configurations (workflows, permissions, custom fields, schemes, automation). Experience integrating
Atlassian tools with CI/CD pipelines
(e.g. Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub). Familiarity with
ITSM best practices
and administering
Jira Service Management . Experience managing user directories (LDAP/AD, SSO/SAML, Crowd). Solid understanding of Agile, DevOps, and compliance-driven development. Preferred Qualifications Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) in Jira or Confluence Administration. Experience with
Atlassian Data Center
and
Cloud
migrations. Background supporting
regulated environments
(gaming, financial services, healthcare, etc.). Experience with
reporting
and
audit trails
