Westaff is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant for a tech company located in East Hartford, CT!
Hours:8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay:$20-22/hr
The responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant are:
- Provides primary front desk coverage for phone calls and visitor registration.
- Greets and assists visitors to ensure a welcoming and professional environment.
- Provides general administrative support.
- Responsible for receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail and packages to employees and tenants in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinates conference room bookings
- Provides assistance with event planning activities
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
The requirements of the Administrative Assistant are:
- 3+ years’ experience in an administrative role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to sudden changes of tasks.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work under close supervision and follow detailed instructions.
- Must fulfill ITAR citizenship requirements
- Mechanically inclined (occasionally help with assembling new office furnature ie; chairs, desks etc)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
