Westaff is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant for a tech company located in East Hartford, CT!

Hours:8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

Pay:$20-22/hr

The responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant are:

  • Provides primary front desk coverage for phone calls and visitor registration.
  • Greets and assists visitors to ensure a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Provides general administrative support.
  • Responsible for receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail and packages to employees and tenants in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinates conference room bookings
  • Provides assistance with event planning activities
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment

The requirements of the Administrative Assistant are:

  • 3+ years’ experience in an administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to sudden changes of tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment and maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to work under close supervision and follow detailed instructions.
  • Must fulfill ITAR citizenship requirements
  • Mechanically inclined (occasionally help with assembling new office furnature ie; chairs, desks etc)
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
