Job Description Creation Technician Hours:
40 hrs /week no overtime for now but maybe down the road
Schedule:
6:30-5:00 Mon- Thur with 2 paid breaks, one 30 minute unpaid lunch break
Pay:
$18/hr
Will work in our creation department and wax department being a part of a fast-paced team environment. These departments are responsible for some of the initial steps necessary for producing unique pieces of art for artists around the country and across the world. This position will occasionally be needed to help in wax department as a wax technician and the desire is to cross train. These departments are air conditioned workspaces.
Responsibilities:
Processing 3d printed parts, performed twice a week:
-Divesting printed parts from 3d printer
-Cleaning extra print powder from parts
-Partial assembly of printed parts
-Wax/ resin infusion of printed parts
-Storing and organizing of printed parts
-Cleaning of print room
Surfacing assistance, as needed:
-Prep parts with paraffin wax as needed
-Check parts for warping/ correct warping if needed -Work with hand tools
-Visually inspect product and meet quality standards
Other duties:
-Prep mill
-Clean mill room
-Prep SLA printers
-Clean SLA prints and prep for assembly/ finishing of SLA parts
-Any and all additional responsibilities as required or assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Must pass Pulmonary Function Test
· Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
· Previous art/aesthetic focused work experience is desired
· Strong attention to detail
· Motivated self-starter with sense of urgency and ability to work independently
· Ability to follow written and spoken work instructions
· Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions
· Maintain reliable and fast work pace consistent with production goals/timelines for quality and quantity
· Vision capabilities such as depth perception, color, attention to detail.
· Physical stamina- ability to stand at work station for long periods, also bend, stoop, sit, lift up to 50lbs regularly
· Perform other duties as assigned throughout the facility
