Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing inspections, repairs, and maintenance on chillers and related equipment, ensuring smooth operations at both on-site and off-site locations. This role requires a strong focus on tracking failure information, part inventory, and providing necessary documentation and reports. The candidate must be proactive in performing routine checks, adhering to safety standards, and assisting with the training and development of new staff on technical procedures.

school graduates or those looking to build a new career in the field service or semiconductor industry. The job includes extensive paid training under experienced engineers and semiconductor professionals. We are looking for people who are mechanically inclined and are passionate about hands-on engineering and technical building.
Key Responsibilities:
Failure Tracking & Documentation:
Review and track failure information, serial numbers, and part usage. Prepare Field Service Reports (FSR) and maintain accurate records. Verify and confirm tracking sheets for proper data integrity.
Chiller & Equipment Management:
Monitor spare or repair needs for chillers at the testing station on a weekly basis. Perform weekly inspections of chiller cages and bi-weekly inspections of tools. Update spare chiller inventory on a weekly basis and part inventory on a daily basis.
Training & Safety:
Provide training on part replacement procedures to staff members. Conduct weekly general safety training sessions and monthly refresher courses. Ensure adherence to safety standards and operational guidelines.
Coordination & Analysis:
Coordinate off-site repairs and monitor the status of chillers. Conduct on-site testing procedures and provide updates on chiller conditions. Analyze performance data and prepare necessary documentation for operational improvements.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
Develop, create, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent quality and safety protocols are followed.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant training preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with tools and equipment used in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Coachable attitude to receive training. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with chiller systems or HVAC systems. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory standards for equipment maintenance. Experience with IT or diagnostics software. Experience with inventory management and part tracking. Highschool shop class or carpentry class. Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment or tools (up to 50 lbs). Willingness to work in varied environments, including outdoor and industrial settings. Comfortable with standing, kneeling, and moving equipment as needed. Work Schedule:
4 and 3 days a week alternating 7:00pm to 7:00am ( 12 hours Shift)
