Responsibilities: Keep client files properly organized and up to date Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders for a high volume of cases Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for various cases Qualifications: Prior work or studies in criminal justice preferred Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association) Ability to successfully represent both plaintiff and defendant sides of a case Must have worked on family law issues for at least 1-2 years; handling of real estate also required Candidates should be great negotiators and communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high

Must be licensed to practice law in the State of MD

(strong consideration for licensure in DC and MD) Prior experience representing clients in hearings, trials, and mediation required Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with management of support staff and interpersonal skills Great legal research skill is a must Compensation: $135,000 - $170,000 DOE Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for various cases

Compensation: $135,000-$170,000 per year
