Position Overview
Auburn Community Hospital is seeking an experienced ICU RN to support their 10-bed critical care unit. Nurses must be confident with high-acuity care, able to manage mechanical ventilation, vasoactive drips, arterial/central lines, and respond to codes. Floating to Med Surg units is required when needed. A
proctored EKG exam
will be administered on Day 1 of the contract. The facility may cancel
up to 3 shifts per assignment . Shift Details
12-hour shifts:
7a–7p or 7p–7a Minimum
3 nurses scheduled per shift RN-to-patient ratio:
1:2 Rare pediatric cases may occur Experience Requirements
Minimum
2 years of recent ICU experience Travel experience required Charge experience preferred (may be required) Must be able to float to Med Surg NIHSS certification +
6 stroke-related CEUs
required prior to start Certifications Required
BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) NIHSS
(prior to start) Stroke CEUs (6 hours)
