A nonprofit organization in NYC is currently seeking a new Assistant Residential Manager to join their team in Brooklyn. In this role, the Assistant Residential Program Manager will be responsible for performing duties alongside the Residence Manager to ensure that the ICF is operating according to current regulations and that all clients are receiving risk-appropriate care.

Tuesday thru Saturday Hours:
Flexible (must be available to work various 8 hr shifts between the hours of 7am to 7pm) Patient Population:
Developmentally Disabled Population, Adults Responsibilities: Assisting in maximizing the functioning of mentally/physically handicapped adults. Ensuring quality services to all residents. Assigning work assignments to DSP and overseeing Shift Supervisors on their duties. Providing staff supervision and oversight of the residence in the absence of the Residence Manager or in conjunction with the Residence Manager. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team on treatment /behavioral plan and with overall care of the individuals within the residence Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications: 3+ years of experience working with the ID/DD population Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree Experience in a Leadership and/or Management role Solid assessment and documentation skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Desired Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Human Services and/or Social Work Experience in a Residential, Health, and/or Treatment-related setting
