Field Reimbursement Manager – Ophthalmology (Seattle, WA & Portland, OR, PNW)
Location : Seattle, WA & Portland, OR (PNW)
Job Summary : The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is a front‑line member of the Regeneron Ophthalmology Field team.
The FRM will support physician offices throughout the reimbursement cycle, maintaining open communication with Regeneron products and ensuring patient access.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute account plans that build reimbursement confidence with customer clinicians and staff.
Proactively educate accounts on support services and monitor the impact of these services.
Collaborate with Regeneron colleagues (Regional Directors, Medical Specialists) to educate physician offices on coding and coverage of Regeneron products.
Guide healthcare professionals in resolving reimbursement issues following Regeneron policies and processes.
Anticipate and adapt to customer needs and market changes.
Manage time and planning to cover assigned territory efficiently.
Establish positive relationships with MDs, administrators, and office staff and manage product concerns.
Update customers on reimbursement requirements, payer trends, and policy changes while utilizing approved access materials.
Qualifications
Previous experience working with billing and medical claims personnel in physician offices, hospitals, HOPDs or ASCs.
Expertise in coding, billing, and submissions across payer environments (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial).
Proficiency with CPT, HCPCS, ICD‑10, revenue codes, DRG, and coverage.
Familiarity with UB‑04, CMS‑1500, EOB, prior authorization, and super‑bill charge tickets.
Ability to analyze and understand regulatory, legislative, payer, and healthcare policies.
Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree; 5–8 years pharmaceutical/biotech/device experience; 3–5 years healthcare coverage, coding, and/or reimbursement experience; experience with products delivered through a specialty pharmacy network.
Travel : 50–70% of the time.
Salary Range : $165,600.00 – $209,600.00 annually.
