The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) role is to minimize reimbursement barriers for patients and providers and optimize access to AstraZeneca products in the assigned therapeutic area. FRMs deliver consultations and interventions with key physicians and institutional customers through specialized services. FRMs work closely with Managed Markets, Trade & Sales partners in the field, supporting targeted accounts, resolving reimbursement issues, developing ethical and customer‑oriented reimbursement strategies, and proactively communicating payer criteria, terms, and practices.

Geography includes: WA, AK, MT, ID, WY.

Responsibilities

Deliver reimbursement strategy and education to key physicians and institutional customers.

Work with Managed Markets, Trade & Sales partners to resolve reimbursement issues for assigned accounts.

Develop and communicate payer criteria, terms, and reimbursement best practices.

Maintain strong relationships with key customers and internal partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree.

Minimum of 5 years of total business experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical/biotech industry.

Minimum of 2 years of sales, managed care, or reimbursement experience.

Experience with physician‑administered injectables preferred.

Excellent reimbursement expertise and payer knowledge preferred.

Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.

Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Desired Requirements

MBA or other graduate‑level degree preferred.

2-4 years of Biotech or Pharmaceutical Sales experience.

2-4 years of Managed Markets experience.Experience in implementing valuable programs and advisory programs.

Compensation The annual base salary for this position ranges from $160,000–$240,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. If hired, employee will be in an “at‑will” position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary or any other discretionary payment or compensation program at any time.
