Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support and counsel in the following areas: administration of hiring, retention, and long-term staffing strategies

Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures

Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

Analyze performance based on KPIs and make necessary recommendations or adjustments

Guide a team of recruiters and other Talent Acquisition professionals

Act as primary talent acquisition contact to JETS II Teammate Principals and Recruiters to support Talent Acquisition efforts across the contract

Partner with management, team leaders and others to identify and implement recruitment strategies to recruit quality talent in the most efficient and effective way

Use problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues that do not fall into standard operating procedures

Influence high-volume recruiting efforts of high-quality technical and business level professionals

Promote conventional and alternative selection methods and recruitment techniques

Understand the duties and competencies of specialized, unique roles

Demonstrate ability to identify and measure program metrics

Determine current staffing needs and produce forecasts accordingly

Interact with the Talent Acquisition team, HR, and Business Leaders to prioritize and implement projects and programs in support of talent acquisition initiatives and process improvements

Participate in recruitment processes to include diversity outreach programs, college and university recruitment, and new hire orientation process

Coordinate recruiting events, provide status reports, track costs, and create metrics for management

Provide interpretation and administration of human resources talent acquisition policies, programs, procedures and compliance with applicable state/federal statutes and regulations

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8 years of experience

Proven experience as a talent acquisition professional with supervisory experience

Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding

Experience developing complex recruiting strategies to meet labor demands

Experience maintaining and analyzing KPI's

Proficient in the use of social media and job boards

Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity

Strong computer skills (MS Word, Access, Excel and Outlook)

Must have experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

Proven administrative and documentation skills, detail-orientation, and proficiency with reporting tools and databases

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously

Organized, self-motivated, and capable of working in a rapidly changing environment with ability to effectively interact with and influence all levels of the organization

Possess exemplary written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills, along with a strong customer-focused orientation and highly developed ability to build relationships and strategic alliances with management to implement change solutions

In-depth knowledge of laws affecting human resources administration and policy to minimize legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance, including a strong understanding of the employment process

General knowledge of maintenance, record and reporting requirements; document management methodologies and procedures and automated HRIS system applications

Work Environment Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Physical Requirements Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).

Attendance Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
