About the Role As a
Senior Accountant , you will support financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. You’ll work closely with leadership to prepare budgets, manage invoicing, and assist with audits, while contributing to the organization’s mission of building healthier, safer communities.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare program budgets and specialized cost reports
Manage invoicing, voucher allocation, deposits, and cash receipts
Support accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and period closings
Conduct financial analyses and provide technical assistance on accounting and budgeting matters
Assist with external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited institution
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the nonprofit industry
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to communicate effectively and work with diverse populations
