Job Title HVAC Technician

Job Description Summary The HVAC Technician is responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all mechanical systems and equipment, including chillers, cooling towers, fans, pumps, heat exchangers, ancillary support equipment, water treatment, controls, and BMS/EMS.

Essentials Functions & Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on all mechanical equipment and systems.

Conduct building tours, maintain equipment loss statements, and report deficiencies for corrective action.

Respond to HVAC trouble calls and troubleshoot systems to meet the operational and comfort needs of building occupants.

Be proficient in the functionality of the BMS/EMS and understand the required sequences for proper building, equipment, and system operations.

Work with engineers, contractors, and consultants to evaluate the proper operation of building systems.

Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and controls to determine problems and perform necessary repairs.

Maintain HVAC equipment as part of the facilities preventive maintenance program.

Perform other related duties as assigned, assist other tradesmen, and conduct emergency repairs.

Adhere to the established HVAC work order preventive maintenance schedule.

Complete work in accordance with C&W Services Business Systems Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Create and maintain all operational SOPs for site‑specific equipment and systems.

Ability to work in a team or with minimal supervision.

Must be able to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

Benefits and Compensation Cushman

The compensation for the position is

$33.85 - $39.82

per hour, with potential variations based on collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, market pay rates, and candidate experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
