Tax Services Senior Analyst – FSO – State & Local Tax EDGE, Income Tax
Join EY in this role bringing expertise in state‑and‑local tax compliance and consulting to serve financial services clients worldwide. This position is open to applicants across the country.
Location Anywhere in the United Country.
Key Responsibilities
Analyzing an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
Identifying potential opportunities and risks and communicating these to our clients.
Learning and researching current market trends, to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
Developing clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve clients’ tax activities.
Researching clients’ business operations and building long‑lasting relationships to tailor advice.
Working with a motivated team of professionals.
Building effective long‑term relationships with clients.
Maintaining reputation through constant updating and sharing of technical knowledge.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline (or graduate degree in Tax or Law).
Progress toward CPA or Enrolled Agent license.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in professional services or professional tax organization.
Thorough understanding of automated tax processing systems and relevant laws.
Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills.
Commitment to continuing learning.
Nice to Have
Deep knowledge of state and local partnership tax.
Proficiency in Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with return preparation software.
Flexible work style to collaborate with internal and client teams.

Competitive base salary with range $81,900‑$135,100 in the U.S. (varies by location). Additional benefits include medical, dental, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off.
