University of Maryland Location: MD, FL, AL, GA, TN | Salary Range: $430k-600k+

The Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is hiring emergency and trauma radiologists.

Under new leadership, the Department is undergoing a dynamic transformation building on its longstanding legacy of excellence. The Department has a new competitive compensation plan (with performance-based incentives) coupled with a focus on faculty flexibility in schedules and staffing.

Join our world-renowned team and practice emergency and trauma imaging at the center that pioneered trauma care! Work with incredible colleagues! This job posting is focused on overnight positions, of which there are 3 options.

Option 1 121 shifts per year, 11p-7a in a 7 on 14 off overnight model. Remote work from MD, FL, GA, TN, or AL. Base salary range $500-600k depending on years of experience.

Option 2 91 shifts a year, 11p-7a in a 7 on 21 off overnight model. Onsite work from MD at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Shock Trauma. Focus on level 1 trauma imaging. Salary range 430k-530k depending on academic rank and years of experience. Travel stipend of $10k/year is provided for those who commute in for weeks of work.

All faculty eligible for performance-based incentives above base salary. Signing bonus ($25k). Extra duty shift work is available for extra compensation. Work more and earn more! Incredible comprehensive benefit package with generous retirement contributions and family/medical leave policies.
