Veterinary Surgeon – Cheshire Are you an experienced vet eager to join a supportive and innovative practice? The practice is committed to supporting your growth, whether through certificates or other CPD avenues.

This full‑time role includes a manageable schedule with 1 in 5 Saturdays (9 am to 12:30 pm), no out‑of‑hours (OOH) work, and no Sundays. Part‑time arrangements can also be considered to suit your needs. The practice boasts a beautiful interior design, creating a pleasant working environment.

Dentistry, cardiology or laparoscopy experience preferred, but consult‑only vets and those with other special interests are also welcome.

Consult times are set at 20 minutes, ensuring thorough care.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, with structured diaries to ensure timely finishes.

Full block‑out lunch break, dedicated phone‑call and paperwork time, and nurses available all day to assist in consults.

Located in picturesque Cheshire, the practice is easily accessible via local transport routes. The area offers the best of both worlds with its bustling city centre and beautiful surrounding countryside, and is less than an hour from Liverpool and Manchester.

The team consists of 7 vets, 7 RVNs, and 3 receptionists, led by a dedicated practice manager. The varied caseload includes a high proportion of insured pets and proactive clients, providing a rich learning environment. The team enjoys socialising outside of work, from sporting events and charity activities to long dog walks and pub gatherings, fostering a strong sense of camaraderie.
