Description
You will be the Quality Engineer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (LMMFC) team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing precision‑engagement aerospace and defense systems, ensuring the highest level of quality for our customers. What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures, and for partnering with design and production teams to deliver flawless products. Responsibilities
Review documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes. Analyze and resolve process issues, driving corrective actions. Lead program corrective‑action meetings and participate in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards. Perform assessments and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Interface with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality‑related issues while applying lean initiatives for continuous improvement. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM related field or higher. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a team player. Proficiency in relevant computer applications. Must be a U.S. citizen and obtain a Secret clearance (interim secret clearance required to start). Desired Skills
Working knowledge of SAP. Experience with GD&T, FMEAs, and Root Cause and Corrective Action processes. Experience in Six‑Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods. Discrete and/or Micro‑electronics experience. Familiarity with J‑STD‑001/IPC‑A‑610. ASQ CQE certification. Benefits
