About The Innovation Lab Our Gen AI Innovation Lab is a 3‑day, high‑intensity program where cross‑functional teams redesign critical workflows and prototype AI‑enabled solutions. Teams use tools such as Microsoft Copilot and low‑code prototyping platforms to gain insight faster.

Map current‑state processes and identify bottlenecks.

Design future‑state business experiences.

Build lightweight prototypes and demo them to senior leaders.

Role Overview As the Lead Innovation Lab Architect, you are the primary facilitator and experience owner for the lab. You guide multiple teams from problem framing through prototyping and demos, ensuring the lab stays on track, the content is relevant, and participants receive sharp, actionable feedback. You also coordinate with Business Transformation Coaches to provide consistent high‑quality support for teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lab Delivery & Facilitation:

Lead all main‑room segments of the lab: openings and closings, discussions, and key activity briefings.

Bring energy, structure, and clarity to each day while closely following the lab agenda and learning objectives.

Make complex Gen AI and business workflow concepts accessible for diverse professional audiences.

Manage pacing and transitions so teams have the right amount of time for each phase of work.

Connecting Work to Business Outcomes:

Ask probing questions that tie team ideas back to business strategy, metrics, risk, and feasibility.

Synthesize team outputs into a holistic business blueprint for senior leaders.

Coach Coordination & Quality Management:

Support coaches to review team artifacts, provide clear, constructive feedback, and articulate compelling business cases and demo narratives for senior leaders.

Observe coach support; offer real‑time guidance to ensure consistency of language, frameworks, and quality.

Serve as the escalation point for tricky team dynamics or design challenges.

Stakeholder & Client Partnership:

Partner with client sponsors and program managers on logistics, expectations, and success measures.

Co‑lead daily check‑ins with client leadership to share themes, celebrate progress, and adjust emphasis where needed.

Contribute to a concise post‑lab summary of key outcomes, patterns, and recommended next steps.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience facilitating executive‑level workshops, strategy sessions, innovation labs, or transformation programs for enterprise clients.

Exceptional facilitation and executive presence—able to command a room, build trust quickly, and create a psychologically safe yet high‑performance environment. Demonstrated ability to guide groups through the design process from problem framing to prototypes or pitches using a provided curriculum or playbook.

Strong business acumen; comfortable discussing strategy, operations, and metrics with VP+ and C‑level leaders.

Familiarity with Gen AI concepts and tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini); you don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be a confident power user.

Excellent coaching and feedback skills; able to challenge teams while remaining supportive and solution‑oriented.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfort working in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.

Willingness to travel on‑site for lab delivery.
