At AWS, the Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) team drives cloud adoption and business growth through innovative pricing strategies. The organization comprises two specialized teams: Strategic Customer Engagements, which guide transformative deals with industry leaders, and Private Pricing Programs & Experiences, which scales and optimizes pricing solutions across our diverse customer base. Within GDSP, you will develop deep expertise in cloud economics, hone your strategic thinking, and directly impact AWS's market leadership while working with new technologies and global clients.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager – Technical to propose and own the development of new features and functionality within our broader platform. You will work closely with stakeholders to prioritize features and capabilities that scale our ability to execute transformative deals through automation and AI‑driven solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, a passion for learning new skills and experience in cloud‑based or AI‑driven product management.
Key Responsibilities
Own the entire lifecycle of new product feature development, from initial concept through launch and beyond, ensuring continuous improvement through data‑driven iteration and stakeholder feedback.
Leverage product management expertise and technical skills to understand complex business requirements, design innovative solutions, and develop generative AI‑powered features that deliver measurable business impact.
Propose and own the development of new features within our broader platform, working closely with stakeholders to prioritize features and capabilities that scale our ability to execute transformative deals through automation and AI‑driven solutions.
Lead the technical development of new product features, including hands‑on contribution to development efforts, particularly in areas involving generative AI implementation and integration.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to define success metrics, measure product performance, and quantify the business impact of new features and capabilities.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling communications for senior leadership.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
Experience building and driving adoption of new tools.
Experience with feature delivery and trade‑offs of a product.
Experience working with global teams and diverse partners.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership.
Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
3+ years of hands‑on technical experience in software development, data science, or related technical field.
Experience applying GenAI technologies to drive operational efficiencies and speed to insights.
Compensation The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
