Description At AWS, the Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) team drives cloud adoption and business growth through innovative pricing strategies. The organization comprises two specialized teams: Strategic Customer Engagements, which guide transformative deals with industry leaders, and Private Pricing Programs & Experiences, which scales and optimizes pricing solutions across our diverse customer base. Within GDSP, you will develop deep expertise in cloud economics, hone your strategic thinking, and directly impact AWS's market leadership while working with new technologies and global clients.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager - Technical to propose and own the development of new features and functionality within our broader platform. You will work closely with stakeholders to prioritize features and capabilities that scale our ability to execute transformative deals through automation and AI‑driven solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, a passion for learning new skills and experience in cloud‑based or AI‑driven product management.
Responsibilities
You will own the entire lifecycle of new product feature development, from initial concept through launch and beyond, ensuring continuous improvement through data‑driven iteration and stakeholder feedback.
You will leverage both product management expertise and technical skills to understand complex business requirements, design innovative solutions, and develop generative AI‑powered features that deliver measurable business impact.
You will propose and own the development of new features within our broader platform, working closely with stakeholders to prioritize features and capabilities that scale our ability to execute transformative deals through automation and AI‑driven solutions.
You will lead the technical development of new product features, including hands‑on contribution to development efforts, particularly in areas involving generative AI implementation and integration.
You will collaborate with Data Engineers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to define success metrics, measure product performance, and quantify the business impact of new features and capabilities.
You will translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling communications for senior leadership.
Successful candidates must have the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units to deliver successfully against the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills with business acumen and be detail‑oriented with excellent analytical problem‑solving skills. A keen sense of end‑to‑end ownership, drive, and scrappiness is a must.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience working with global teams and diverse partners
Preferred Qualifications
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
3+ years of hands‑on technical experience in software development, data science, or related technical field
Experience in the application of GenAI technologies to drive operational efficiencies and speed to insights

Compensation and Benefits Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
