Now Hiring: Laboratory Sample Processing Specialist (Day Shift | 90-Day Contract)
Pay: $34 – $48.75 per hour

We’re looking for a
Laboratory Sample Processing Specialist
to join a fast-paced, science-powered environment where accuracy, curiosity, and teamwork keep everything flowing.
What You’ll Do You’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps the lab running smoothly by:
Preparing, receiving, accessioning, aliquoting, and processing clinical specimens with precision.
Setting up, maintaining, troubleshooting, and helping validate lab instruments (robots love you).
Whipping up reagents, prepping supplies, and keeping equipment refreshed and ready to perform.
Documenting all things QC—environmental readings, equipment checks, isolation controls—you name it.
Updating databases, fixing data entry errors, and maintaining sample inventories.
Training back-up staff, keeping workflows efficient, and jumping in during emergency staffing needs.
Supporting a safe and secure lab space while protecting sensitive medical information.
Occasionally entering areas where human blood is handled (PPE and protocols provided, of course!).
What You Bring
Either
2 years of college in biology or a related field + 3 years lab experience
, or
a 4-year biology/related degree + 1 year lab experience
.
Hands‑on experience with sample handling, quantitative analysis, enzyme assays, reagent prep, pipetting, centrifugation, and similar techniques.
Comfort working with automated instruments and moderately advanced Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and strict adherence to lab procedures.
Ability to manage large volumes of samples accurately without breaking a sweat.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Experience mentoring/training others
An instinct for spotting workflow improvements
A love for organized sample racks and crisp labels

Pay rate: $34 – $48.75 per hour DOE
