Expression is looking for an experienced Help Desk Specialist to join our team in Washington, DC. This role is responsible for answering questions and managing requests related to information systems. You will work with customer requests using platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, JAMF, Confluence, JIRA, and other SaaS platforms. You will be operating in a mixed Windows/ Mac OS user environment and using Jamf and Microsoft InTune for mobile device management. This includes IT services such as operating systems troubleshooting, account administration, network configuration, application deployment, IT operations, and IT support.

You should be knowledgeable and customer-oriented, possessing strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a problem-solving aptitude.

Job Responsibilities

Assist employees in troubleshooting technical issues.

Shipping hardware to employees.

Assisting in the development and design of IT processes and policies.

Performing account, security, and other audits.

Configuring and maintaining support and customer-serving systems

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree in Information Technology or similar field experience

2+ years experience in the Help Desk, IT Support Services field, or similar

2+ years of general IT experience configuring laptops, phones, workstations, and conference room equipment

Experience utilizing Jira or a similar ticketing system

Experience in troubleshooting MacOS, Windows, MFA authentication, mobile equipment, and website account administration.

Experienced in utilizing Jamf or a similar mobile device management (MDM) system

Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer and technical issues

Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to queries via chat, email, phone, and/or in-person

Ability to work as a member of a coordinated team providing consistent guidance, support, and services to IT customers.
