Job Description Summary The Faculty Clinical Track emphasizes professional service in clinical settings.
Job Description Job Duties
Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, therapists, nurses, and social workers to deliver coordinated care.
Participate in supervision, teaching, and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Optional involvement in research or program development based on interests.
Participate in department activities and faculty meetings.
Work Environment Participate in weekend call duties.
Education Required Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Board certified or board eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
This position requires a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skill set required to perform the duties of the position. The level of degree is based on accreditation requirements, institutional standards of academic and professional excellence, alignment with peer institution benchmarks, and contributes to the credibility and effectiveness of the role within the university community.
Licenses Eligible for medical licensure in Kansas and Missouri
