Quality Assurance Lead (Weekend)

Friday to Sunday, 6:00 am – 6:30 pm
Responsibilities
Perform Quality Assurance Lead operations related to the test and inspection of electronic devices.
Perform quality inspection operations following instructions and pre‑established guidelines.
Create work instructions for the Quality department in collaboration with the documentation team and Quality Supervisor.
Provide training to new and existing employees on 6S and work instructions.
Participate in weekly department status update meetings with the department supervisor.
Provide SIPOC training.
Track weekly tasks and metrics.
Provide ANSI/AQL results to external customers.
Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team uses industry‑accepted best practices.
Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
Act as key contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
Lead and mentor QA team members, and manage outside contract testers.
Develop and execute test plans and procedures (manual and automated).
Enter relevant data and audit/inspection results in the computer database.
Provide process improvement feedback.
Work on multiple programs and in multiple QA functional areas.
Serve as a resource for questions to other coworkers when the supervisor is unavailable.
Document relevant facts and information to support work performed.
Participate in continuous improvement and team‑building activities.
Maintain productive working relationships with all team members.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of demonstrated quality experience.
Ability to lead and mentor QA team members.
Additional Skills / Experience That Would Be Helpful
1+ year of previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
1+ year of Quality Assurance/Inspection experience.
Any verbatim written procedure compliance experience.
Familiar with basic electronic test equipment.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to interact effectively and positively with all levels of company personnel.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Incumbents regularly sit at a desk and operate standard office equipment such as a computer and barcode scanner.
Bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, exposure to changes in temperature, being near moving machinery, and office machinery.
Occasionally required to stand and walk, lift, carry and/or move up to 20 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.

The noise level in the work environment is low, and it is an Electro Static Discharge (ESD) safe area; wrist strap and smocks must be worn at all times.
Pay Range $18.65 – $29.84
