Responsibilities
The
Safety Director
supports specific client and project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhancing a culture of safety.
Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
Conduct daily safety meetings
Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
Daily safety audits and inspections
Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
Qualifications
Minimum 7 - 10 years direct construction safety experience required
Experience managing safety teams
Degree in a safety related field
ASP or CSP destination preferred
Expertknowledge ofconstruction safety standards
Experience developing a Corporate Health and Safety Plan
