Overview We are currently looking to add a Director of Clinical Portfolio Strategy to our Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership and commercial success of diagnostic quality control solutions across infectious disease and precision medicine markets. This role guides global portfolio strategy, product lifecycle management, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure the company’s molecular based innovations achieve clinical impact and sustainable business growth.

Key duties

Develop and lead the global diagnostics portfolio strategy for infectious disease and oncology, driving innovation, profitability, and long‑term value creation.

Manage the full product lifecycle from concept through commercialization, ensuring alignment with clinical, regulatory, and market objectives.

Partner with R&D, Science and Regulatory teams to translate scientific insights into differentiated, compliant diagnostic solutions.

Evaluate market trends, clinical needs, and competitive dynamics to inform portfolio decisions and identify growth opportunities.

Build and manage strategic partnerships with biopharma, healthcare organizations, and diagnostic assay manufacturers to advance infectious disease and oncology diagnostics.

Oversee business case development and performance analysis for new and enhanced products.

Develop go‑to‑market strategies, product positioning, and launch execution plans.

Engage with key opinion leaders and clinical networks to strengthen portfolio credibility and market adoption.

Lead and mentor a team of portfolio managers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

Monitor portfolio performance and implement corrective or acceleration strategies to achieve financial and strategic goals.

Domestic and international travel required.

Education/Experience Requirements

Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Business, or related field.

10+ years of experience in clinical diagnostics, precision medicine, or molecular diagnostics, with leadership in infectious disease and/or oncology markets.

Proven record of success in global portfolio or product management and commercialization of IVD or molecular based products.

Proven knowledge of regulatory, reimbursement, and companion diagnostic frameworks.

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
