Base pay range:
$140,000 – $160,000 per year
Key responsibilities and skills:
Develop and Implement a Strategic Plan : Work with volunteers, community leaders, and staff to create and execute a strategic plan with measurable goals.
Improve Operating Performance : Lead the organization in achieving operational goals and ensuring safe, sustainable practices.
Fiscal Management : Forecast financial trends, grow revenue, and maintain balanced operations.
Position the Y as a Vital Partner : Advocate the mission and build relationships with stakeholders.
Build and Lead Staff : Manage talent development, hiring, and staff engagement.
Steward Fundraising Efforts : Develop an annual fundraising plan and secure major gifts.
Additional duties:
Shape a long‑term vision for growth across a multi‑county region.
Expand early learning and afterschool capacity.
Strengthen partnerships with school districts, municipalities, and civic groups.
Elevate fundraising and steward major giving initiatives.
Lead branch executives and program directors.
Continue facility improvements and explore new capital opportunities.
Strengthen operational systems and build long‑term financial sustainability.
Qualifications and Criteria:
Accredited four‑year college degree or advanced degree.
Minimum seven years in a senior management role with a YMCA or comparable organization.
Proven budgetary and fiscal management success.
Ability to develop and strengthen community relationships.
Strategic planning and fundraising experience, including grant securing.
YMCA Organizational Leader Certification or ability to achieve within three years.
Salary Range:
$140,000 – $160,000 – commensurate with experience.

Residency expectation:
Living in Victoria County, Texas required.
