Associate Patient Services Specialist
Location: Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, 1165 Montgomery Dr, Santa Rosa, CA
Job Type: Per‑Diem
Shift: Evening
Pay Range: $26.32 - $35.12 (base). Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Responsibilities
Performs all registration functions for patients, including collecting accurate demographic information, verifying insurance benefits and eligibility, obtaining authorizations/precertifications for services provided, and collecting patient liability prior to or at the time of service.
Greets and serves patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner.
Required Qualifications
1 year of experience in a healthcare or customer service setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Coursework/Training – Some college or certificate courses.
Experience in hospital registration or a healthcare setting.
Experience utilizing medical terminology in a job setting.
Experience with Meditech/A4 system.
