Assistant Store Manager

Overview As an Assistant Store Manager (ASM), you will support our customers through real financial needs while gaining hands‑on experience running a store. You will develop leadership skills in real time by driving account management, customer outreach, and risk management. It is performance‑driven, people‑first, and packed with growth potential.
Compensation Hourly wage: $15.50 per hour. Total compensation includes benefits and growth opportunities.

What You’ll Do – Responsibilities
Maximize customer success by offering appropriate financial services.
Assess risk of transactions and process loan/pawn applications accurately.
Run daily call campaigns to market services and build relationships.
Oversee account management and recovery, including collection calls.
Maintain accurate customer information in the POS system.
Coach and develop Customer Service Representatives as needed.
Perform field duties such as vehicle appraisals, errands, and marketing.
Meet company performance standards via partnership opportunities and community events.
Maintain store security protocols and handle opening/closing procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations; conduct audits and report.
Monitor store appearance and schedule maintenance.
Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Execute additional duties as directed by leadership.
Maintain a full‑time schedule with regular in‑person attendance, including weekends.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
At least three months of supervisory or key holder experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with phones, POS, Microsoft Office, and computer systems.
Minimum age 18 (19 in Alabama).
Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (mileage compensated).
Background check required; results considered per applicable law.
Physical ability to remain stationary up to 90%; lift up to 25 lbs; operate mechanical controls.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing retail, convenience, grocery, finance, or related sectors.
Experience in check cashing, document verification, or money order processing.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
