Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.
Responsibilities
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
Provide Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
Support day‑to‑day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform system capacity analysis and planning.
Provide in‑depth experience in troubleshooting IT systems.
Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems; install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Configure and manage virtual environments.
Patch systems based on state‑of‑the‑art security and functional parameters.
Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen.
Must have TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph.
At least fifteen (15) years of direct/relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required; alternatively, five (5) years of additional Systems Administration experience on projects with similar processes may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
Security+ Certification.
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
Provide support to IT systems including day‑to‑day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.

Experience with using Nessus Scanner and managing Nessus Agents.
Ability to write POA&Ms.
Knowledge of maintaining a Secure the Enterprise (STE)/ Secure the Network (STN) score.
Familiarity with Latte Art, Biscotti, XACTA.
